If the stone you want needs a price check or we have to confirm the slab is available, that can take another day or two, and nothing gets cut until you have the number and have approved where the seams land.

What happens that day
- We measure every run and the island, on site, in about 45 minutes.
- We talk through the stone you are considering and what it does in a real kitchen.
- Then we put your price in writing. Sometimes we have to check the price and availability of the stone you want first, so it can take a day or two. Once you have it, it does not move.
- No decision needed that day. If you want to move forward, the next step is choosing your slab and signing off on where the seams land, before anything is cut.
